Abstract
Since 1993 to July 1994, 374 patients underwent a Mainz Pouch procedur e in their hospital. The follow up is between 4,2 +/- 2,6 years. The a uthors used this technique as well for bladder augmentation, bladder s ubstitution as continent diversion. If possible, the appendix will be used for creating the continence system.
