Abstract
Different water mangement methods affect significantly on productivity plasticbag (ppb). After hyphae were fully growin on ppb, the cover on ppb was removed. Seventeen days later, an initial fruiting body (i.f. b.) appeared. From that timewater was sprayed on i.f.b. every day. Sev en days later, the i.f.b. decayed and no fruiting body could be harves ted. If ppb was kept without sparyig water, poorproductivity (20g ppb) and shape was experienced due to water shortage. It was graded as 3 w ith income of NT13 pre ppb. If water spary was initiated as i.f.b. app roached 2.5cm or wider, it needs 32 days after removal the plug of ppb ,fruiting body could grow continuously, however, stower growth resulte d insmaller friting body. Total production was 27 g/ppb with the secon d grade andpriced NT$ 263.25 per ppb. If water spray on asile instead of i.f.b. the bestresult with 4lg/ppb and the first grade fruiting bod y priced NT$61.5 per ppb wasobtained. For controlling slime mold occur red on ppb surface after the cover wasremoved, spraying water, 850 tim e dilution of 40% Carbaryl FP, alcohol and alsoby wiping it with cloth wetted with water and alcohol failed to control slimemold. However, u sing gasoline to spary could control the slime mold butdispersed spore could induce new infection. However wipe out the slime moldwith gasol ine wetted cloth attained prefect control in situ and also inhibitspor e dispersal.
