Abstract
The gross and microscopic features of benign and malignant uterine smo oth muscle tumors are reviewed and illustrated in this article. Criter ia for diagnosis are enumerated and the morphologic variants of leiomy oma that may be mistaken for sarcoma are detailed. Related smooth musc le tumors are also discussed.
