Abstract
The application of Petri nets and AI to enhance the effectivity of mod eling and simulation is envisaged. The combined use of both discipline s enabling the dynamic control of simulation by intelligent demons as well as the realization of mobile knowledge bases attached to the toke ns by the introduction of Knowledge Attributed Petri Nets are outlined . The principles described are illustrated on practical examples.
