Abstract
The preparation of Na-7[(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))Rh . P2W15Nb3O62], a Dawson- type polyoxoanion-supported organometallic complex with air-inorganic countercations, is described. The compound was obtained in 39% yield a s an analytically pure, homogeneous yellow-orange solid by a reaction of [(eta(5)-C(5)Me(5))Rh(CH3CN)(3)](2+) with Na9P2W15Nb3O62 in a solve nt mixture of CH3CN-DMSO. Compositional characterization was accomplis hed by a complete elemental analysis, TG-DTA and GLC measurements. Str uctural characterization in solution was achieved by a combination of H-1, C-13, P-31 and W-183 NMR spectroscopy.
