Abstract
We observed that a change in the recumbent position markedly altered t he pulmonary venous and mitral flow velocity pattern in a patient with myocardial infarction of the anterior wall associated with trepopnea. An elevation of the left ventricular filling pressure when the patien t was in the left lateral decubitus position may have caused the trepo pnea.
