Abstract
Thiazyl cyanide, NSCN, produced by an on-line process using thiazyl ch loride, NSCl, as precursor over heated AgCN, has been studied by gas-p hase FTIR spectroscopy; values for nu1 of 2224 cm-1 (C=N stretch) and for nu2 of 1374 cm-1 (N=S stretch) are obtained.
