Abstract
Periodic steady state solutions are generated by the Harmonic Balance/ Fast Fourier Transform method from the nonlinear differential equation of an Euler-Bernoulli beam rod, constant speed crank, slider crank me chanism. Stability and response of those solutions are examined when p iston mass and crank length are varied. Jump, period doubling bifurcat ions, and amplified response were found.
