Abstract
We describe a young women with chronic renal failure treated for six y ears by haemodialysis (HD), with uncontrolled severe secondary hyperpa rathyroidism who developed bilateral spontaneus rupture of the quadric eps. The pathogenic, clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic aspects of t his unusual complication of HD are discussed.
