An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effects of the use of 21%
raw, toasted or extruded faba beans in diets for pig fattening. In the
feeding trial there were three groups with 12 pigs in each group. The
trial was started at 30 kg and ended at 100 kg live weight. Regarding
the criteria of fattening and slaughter performance no significant di
fferences were found between groups.
