Abstract
The metabolism of H-3-labelled 24-epi-castasterone in cell suspension cultures of Lycopersicon esculentum involved epimerization, hydroxylat ion and glucosidation, and yielded several new brassinosteroids and br assinosteroid glucosides. Their structures were elucidated by MS and N MR analysis.
