Abstract
Michael addition of the sulfur nucleophiles N-(beta-D-galacto- or -bet a-D-glucopyranosyl)dithiocarbamic acid (2a, b) to 4-arylidene-5-oxazol ones (3a-d) followed by ring transformation of the resultant Michael a dducts 4a-h and hydrolysis yielded new 5-amino-6-aryl-3-(beta-D-galact o- or ranosyl)-tetrahydro-2-thioxo-4H-1,3-thiazin-4-ones 6a-h in a one -pot procedure.
