Abstract
The synthesis of 15 new N-benzyl substituted derivatives of (E)-gamma- azastilbenols-2'(3' and 4') and their antimicrobial activity are repo rted. In particular, compounds 1a-c, 1h and 2a-b showed good antibacte rial activity against Staphylococcus aureus.
