Abstract
The molecular recognition properties of three systems are discussed: a self-associating cyclocholate; a porphyrin-cyclocholate molecular bow l which recognises morphine enantioselectively; and a cyclic porphyrin trimer which efficiently and stereoselectively accelerates a Diels-Al der reaction.
