Abstract
To search for possible antitumor promoters, inhibitory effects of lant adenes and related triterpenoids from Lantana camara L. (Verbenaceae) on Epstein-Barr virus activation, were tested. The substitutions on th e carboxylic acid through an ester bond might play an important role i n the activity.
