Abstract
The title compound 1 has been synthesised by dilithium tetrachlorocupe rate-catalysed coupling of p-methoxy-phenethyl bromide with the Grigna rd reagent of 3-bromo-6, 6-ethylenedioxycyclohexene in foul steps in 4 9% overall yield.
