Abstract
We report a metastatic prostatic abscess in a 12-year-old boy. Rectal examination revealed a tender, fluctuating prostatic mass, causing acu te retention of urine. Prostatic imaging by computerized tomography an d transrectal ultrasonography were important in the diagnosis and mana gement.
