Abstract
We have demonstrated, for the first time, a much simpler planar organi c microcavity consisting of a single layer of organic semiconductor em itting material sandwiched by metallic mirrors. The emission of red, y ellow and green light from these identical luminescent materials was o btained by changing the length of the cavity, and its microcavity effe cts were studied.
