Abstract
We describe the case of a 33-year-old woman who suffered a delayed-ons et arterial gas embolism following a significant venous air embolism d uring surgery to remove an acoustic neuroma. We report the management of the problem and discuss the mechanisms by which this event might ha ve occurred.
