This paper presents a decision model for developing competitive advant
age in the supranational environment. The objective function is to max
imize competitive advantage, subject to satisfying certain constraints
. As a managerial model the constraints may be conflicting. Ex-post ex
amples of Canadian firms are presented to illustrate the model.
