A simple method for determination of starch hydrolysis degree by measu
rement of maltodligosaccharides using HPLC on SGX C-18 column with dei
onised water as mobile phase was presented. Separation of seven oligos
accharides in an order from glucose to maltoheptaose illustrated the a
ction of hire enzyme systems taking part of starch hydrolysis and foll
owing fermentation to ethanol.
