Abstract
Fourteen young patients affected by adrenoleukodystrophy were the subj ects of this study aimed at evaluating their hair. Hair was thin and l ight upon clinical examination and several structural and biochemical anomalies were detected during all microscopic investigations. Our rep ort is the first concerning alterations of the hair of patients affect ed by adrenoleukodystrophy.
