Abstract
Poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and the poly(hexafluoropropylene-viny lidene fluoride) (Viton) films are modified in order to produce hepari n-like materials. This transformation is carried out on three steps: s wift heavy ion irradiation (performed at the GANIL, Caen, France) of t he polymer substrates, polystyrene (PS) grafting, functionalization of the PS. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy is used to analyze the modif ication of the surface chemical composition at the several steps.
