Abstract
Types, topotypes, and some other material of the pseudoscorpion Microc reagris imperialis Much-more have been studied, and the species is tra nsferred to the genus Fissilicreagris Curcic. Supplemental description and illustrations are presented, including the first information abou t females. This species is known only from three caves in Cave Gulch, Santa Cruz County, California. The cave habitat for F. imperialis is t hreatened by vandalism, development, and closure; and the U. S. Fish a nd Wildlife Service has proposed this pseudoscorpion as a candidate fo r listing as an endangered or threatened species.
