Abstract
The modulation system was designed to study the scattering of monoener getic electrons from metal atoms at energies from 0 to 10 eV. The sign al modulator generates both square waves for a mechanical chopper of a n atomic beam and sampling pulses for a detector of the electrons scat tered from a target. The unit was built to the CAMAC standard and can be controlled either manually or by computer.
