Abstract
A simple device using a magnetic float has been designed to measure th e densities of Liquids at temperatures of 20-100 degrees C at atmosphe ric pressure to within 0.005%. A calibration technique using measureme nts of the density of decene-1 with a magnetic float and a conventiona l pycnometer coincide to within 0.01%.
