Ve. Shaposhnikov et Vv. Zaitsev, ON THE ORIGIN OF THE NARROW-BAND SPLITTING AT THE JOVIAN DECAMETRIC CUTOFF FREQUENCY, Astronomy and astrophysics, 305(1), 1996, pp. 352-358
The origin of the narrow-band splitting in the high-frequency edge of
the Jovian decametric emission dynamic spectra is discussed. Three mai
n features were observed on dynamic spectra, giving the possibility to
elucidate the problem. A model for the generation of the Jovian decam
etric radiation is constructed in which plasma and electron cyclotron
maser emissions are included. We explain the origin of the splitting a
nd its main features.
