M. Shimoji et al., ESTABLISHMENT OF IMMORTAL HEPATOCYTES FROM A CYP3A7-TRANSGENIC P53-KNOCKOUT MOUSE, Biochemical and biophysical research communications, 217(3), 1995, pp. 1001-1005
Immortal hepatocytes were established from a CYP3A7-transgenic/p53-kno
ckout mouse. The cells could be maintained with shorter doubling time
after culture for 1 month. Detectable amounts of CYP3A7 mRNA and the a
ctivity of 7-propoxycoumarin O-depropylase, one of the representative
CYP3A activities, were present in the immortal hepatocytes. Albumin mR
NA, which is specifically expressed in the liver, remained in these ce
lls. (C) 1995 academic Press, Inc.
