Abstract
A novel 8mm T-junction waveguide circulator with a ferrite sphere is d eveloped. The permeability tensor of a magnetised Ferrite sphere is de rived. A simple method is developed to determine the operation modes a nd the centre frequency of the circulator. The circulator performs as expected. Good agreement between the analytical results and measuremen ts is observed.
