In various localities, the annual fluctuations expressed to a variable degree. Three levels of differentiation of spawners were n oted: 1) differentiation upon spawning during one year; 2) differentia tion between chum salmon populations entering the same spawning reserv oirs but at different years; 3) differentiation between local populati ons.
