Abstract
This paper deals with the morphology and life history of three new spe cies of septate gregarines (Apicomplexa: Sporozoea) under the genus Gr egarina Dufour, 1828 in the gut of coleopteran, orthopteran and hemipt eran insects collected from different economically important plants of West Bengal, India. The parasites are Gregarina hyashii sp. n. from C occinella transversalis, Gregarina vannucephala sp. n. from Gryllodes sp. and Gregarina coptosomae sp. n. from Coptosoma sp.
