Abstract
Automatic generation of coloured hyperbolic patterns is considered fro m a dynamical system's point of view. This method is able to create un limited varieties of patterns and can be extended to create patterns f rom symmetry groups of infinite orders. To demonstrate the generality of the method, coloured patterns related to various hyperbolic groups are constructed.
