A. Vacheron et P. Devernejoul, VALUE OF LINSIDOMINE (SIN 1) FOR ASSESSME NT OF MYOCARDIAL VIABILITY BY EXERCISE TL-201 SCINTIGRAPHY, Comptes rendus de l'Academie des sciences. Serie 3, Sciences de la vie, 317(5), 1994, pp. 452-456
Tl-201 scintigraphy can be used to determine exercise-induced ischemia
and the viability of the hypoperfused myocardium as a function of rad
iotracer redistribution. Redistribution is calculed by differential an
alysis of the normalized circumferential curves of activity, Intraveno
us injection of linsidomine (SIN 1) a patent coronary vasodilatator, g
ives more reliable results than conventional imaging at the 4th h, and
compares favourably with the results obtained at the 24th h after rei
njection of Tl-201. Linsidomine provides images in 60 to 90 min, in st
able clinical conditions.
