Jk. Kahn, EVIDENCE FOR DYNAMIC CORONARY VASOCONSTRICTION OF NONINFARCT VESSELS DURING ACUTE MYOCARDIAL-INFARCTION, Catheterization and cardiovascular diagnosis, 36(4), 1995, pp. 371-373
The role of coronary vasoconstriction in acute myocardial infarction i
s controversial. Two patients are presented who were studied with angi
ography during the early hours of acute myocardial infarction and in w
hom reversible spasm of non-infarct vessels was observed. A tendency t
owards coronary vasospasm may be a generalized phenomenon during acute
myocardial infarction. (C) 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
