Dg. Steel et al., ELECTRICAL-TRANSPORT PROPERTIES OF [001] TILT BICRYSTAL GRAIN-BOUNDARIES IN YBA2CU3O7, Applied physics letters, 68(1), 1996, pp. 120-122
The zero-field electrical transport properties of 24 degrees [001] til
t bicrystal grain boundaries in YBa2CU3O7 were found to be in excellen
t agreement with the Ambegaokar-Halperin model over an extended range
of currents and voltages. This model gives a firm basis for characteri
zing and comparing boundaries, and provides two independent measures o
f the critical current, which were proportional to (1 - T/T-c)(2) clos
e to the transition temperature T-c. (C) 1996 American Institute of Ph
