Abstract
Three new whitefly species, Bemisia lauracea, Aleuroplatus perseaphagu s, and Pealius madeirensis are described from Madeira. Aleyrodes rhamn icola Goux (1940) is referred to Aleurotrachelus (comb. n.), with Aleu rotrachelus espunae Gomez-Menor (1945) becoming its junior synonym (sy n. n); its identity and distribution are discussed.
