Abstract
It is shown as magnetoelastic sensor may be able to measure point disp lacement from some centimeters down to 10(-7)m. In some examples of ba sic applications the good agreement among the theoretical predictions and the experimental results is reported. The proposed sensors are bot h sensitive as those founded on optical techniques and strength as the mechanical similar devices.
