Abstract
Layer quasiperiodical structures (Fibonacci superlattices) were grown by pulse laser deposition on thin glass and BaF2 substrates. The optic al spectrum in the IR region shows peculiarities connected with the se misimilarity of the energy spectrum of the density of states. The loca lization of carriers in the quasiperiodical superlattice, which increa ses in an electric field and on cooling, causes a decrease in optical transparency of the superlattice.
