Abstract
Investigation of time characteristics of silicon avalanche detectors w ith negative feedback based on Metal-Resistive layer-Semiconductor str ucture, proposed for Time-of-Flight systems, is described in; this pap er. Time resolutions of 550 ps on beta-electrons and 250 ps on LED lig ht pulses were obtained. Design and principles of operation are descri bed briefly.
