Abstract
A theroretical analysis of the behaviour of an STJ detector in the non equilibrium regime induced by some external radiation has been carrie d, based on the kinetic equations for both junction electrodes. The an alytical expression of the tunnel times and of the non equilibrium cur rent has been obtained. The effect of the backtunneling process on the amount of collected charge is shown.
