Abstract
Comparative studies of the rate of exogenous phosphate uptake and its assimilation by callus cells of Glycine max for hetero- and mixotrophi c growth were made. It is shown that the type of tissue culture and co ntent of macrocomponents in the nutrient medium (nitrate, sucrose) inf luenced the rate of exogenous phosphate uptake. However, the quantity of phosphate assimilated by callus cells for the growth cycle did not depend on the types of cultivation and was about 30% of the total phos phate uptake.
