Abstract
Plutonium was separated by ionic exchange from irradiated metallic ura nium. Solutions of plutonium and uranium were electrodeposited on stai nless-steel discs and identified by alpha-spectroscopy. Plutonium coul d be separated from uranium and the fission products.
