Abstract
Natural infestations of Tapinoma melalzocephalum, (Fab.) found in cent ral Florida greenhouses were observed attacking Tetranychus urticae Ko ch in test evaluations of two chemicals. Subsequent laboratory tests u sing isolated leaf discs, greenhouse data, and whole plants demonstrat ed that T. melanocephalum is a significant predator of T. urticae.
