Abstract
Methods for the determination of three-dimensional solubility paramete rs of basic paint components like solvents, film-forming substances an d pigments are briefly reviewed. In particular, the conventional metho d for determining the compatibility regions is described and a new sta tistical method of analysing experimental data is proposed. The latter makes it possible to determine simply the three-dimensional solubilit y parameters. A relevant example is given.
