Abstract
Sleep disorder is a widespread chronic disease. Its treatment and the disease itself causes losses to society, eg treatment cost and cost of sick leaves. On the other hand an appropriate treatment increases pat ients' quality of life and work productivity. The basic methods for ev aluating the costs and benefits of treating sleep disorders are descri bed.
