Abstract
During the last few years opinions have been divided on the advantages and disadvantages of oxygen administration in pregnancy and during la bor. We review the present knowledge regarding the influence of matern al oxygen inhalation on the fetus. We conclude that. the fetus may ben efit from oxygen therapy during pregnancy and labor.
