The double beta processes in Mo-92 are investigated both theoretically
and experimentally, An extension of the quasiparticle random-phase ap
proximation (QRPA) approach has been used for the two-neutrino double
beta calculations. A HPGe detector and an external source of high-puri
ty natural molybdenum are used to determine new stringent limits on th
e (0 nu+2 nu)beta(+) EC decay to the ground state and on (0 nu+2 nu) E
