Abstract
An IC-excited Sr+ recombination laser, operated successfully at averag e powers of 0.8 W-1 W, is reported. The IC-circuitry practically elimi nates the detrimental ringing of the tube current and ensures tripling (or more) of the rectifier voltage to be imposed on the tube electrod es.
