F. Piccoli et Rm. Riuggeri, DOPAMINERGIC AGONISTS IN THE TREATMENT OF PARKINSONS-DISEASE - A REVIEW, Journal of neural transmission. Supplementum, (45), 1995, pp. 187-195
Dopaminergic agonists represent an important class of drugs in Parkins
on's Disease, useful: a) in delaying the beginning of L-dopa therapy;
b) in supporting it, reducing its dosage and widen the therapeutic win
dow; c) moreover, as the disease advances, in trying to treat motor fl
uctuations. Authors describe briefly the problems caused by long term
L-dopa therapy, and analize, separately, the characteristics of the mo

of PD.
