Jm. Yanezlimon et al., THERMAL AND ELECTRICAL-PROPERTIES OF THE GE-SB-TE SYSTEM BY PHOTOACOUSTIC AND HALL MEASUREMENTS, Physical review. B, Condensed matter, 52(23), 1995, pp. 16321-16324
The thermal and electrical properties in the (Ge:Sb:Te) system have be
en determined using photoacoustic and Hall measurements, respectively.
The thermal diffusivity, thermal conductivity, hole concentration, an
d Hall mobility are analyzed as a function of the tellurium concentrat
ion in the bulk alloys. It is found that both the thermal and electric
al parameters depend strongly on the alloy composition and on the crys
talline structure of the solid compound. The thermal and electrical me
asured parameters correlate well with the density of holes arising fro
m Ge and/or Sb vacancies.
